Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PlayersEdge ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

PlayersEdge is available to youth baseball players, parents, coaches, and scouts. Users under 13 must register with verifiable parental consent. Users under 18 must review these terms with a parent or guardian.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • You must provide accurate registration information.
  • One account per person. No account sharing.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (videos, game data, scouting reports). You grant PlayersEdge a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content according to the visibility settings you choose. You must not upload content that infringes others' rights or that you do not have permission to share.

5. Acceptable Use

  • Do not scrape, abuse, or overload the Service.
  • Do not attempt to access data you are not authorized to see.
  • Do not use the Service to harass players, parents, coaches, or scouts.
  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the Service.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid tiers (Standard, Pro) are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account at any time. Fees are not refundable except where required by law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that stats, box scores, or scouting data will be error-free. Use of the Service for recruiting decisions is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayersEdge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
